Dreams fuel our souls. Giving them life makes us human. We all have dreams, but it is our choice to fulfill them.
As a “first generation”, we have an innate desire to make a mark on our society. We constantly seek new challenges, and having seen some of the worse abilities of our in-human kind, we want to take part in making our lives more enjoyable on this beautiful planet.
It has been a long journey of searching for just the right purpose, and “Frapez” is our start. The idea came rather unexpectedly, on a quiet fall evening over some tea and two friends catching up in their weekly routine. It was immediately a natural synergy of our ultimate goals: to share passion and knowledge about nutrition and to create a positive and compassionate business. Thus, a partnership was born.
As expected, the initial idea was just a wave in the ocean of more ideas, planning, creativity and hard work. Nino spent countless hours designing the “perfect” menu. A menu that would address what we need most to help improve our lives - a perfect balance of taste, color and ingredients. As perfectionists, to us the menu will never be complete, but it will grow with those that will believe in us and our mission.
Gogy spent days and weekends working on the business plan to make sure that our idea is not only right in purpose, but also in execution.
We also reached out to our friends. We had two tasting parties in 2006/07. The turnout, the engagement, and the feedback were energizing. The information we gathered helped us move that much closer to fulfilling our dreams. Next step was to find the perfect location and after a whole year of searching, the fortune was upon us. We were able to secure a great location at 4092 18th Street in San Francisco’s popular Castro district. And after over 4 months of hard work remodeling and construction we opened our doors on November 5th, 2008. Thus, the next chapter in our lives began…
OUR MISSION? Our mission is to bring nutrition and health to those that otherwise could not afford it, either because of time, or budget. We have passion for helping people of all walks of life.
